Futura's 'Star Day' to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital

16 December 2016

Always eager to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Futura hosted a ‘Star Day’ on Friday 16th December to raise funds for children with rare diseases.

Mixing a Christmas Jumper Day, with a festive-themed Bake Off in order to raise as much money for the charity as possible.

Team members from Design and Recruitment came together put on their favourite festive knitwear and eat home-made cakes and treats. Spoilt for choice, the offerings included: Mince pies, Rudolf brownies, Snowflake Cupcakes & a Gingerbread House. The ‘Star Baker’ award had to go to Daisy for her ‘Rudolf Brownies’ and ‘Rice Krispie Christmas Trees’.

The winner of the annual Christmas Jumper competition had to go to CAD Apprentice Reece, who’s Christmas jumper included a 3D scarf and penguin face on the hood!

Raising an amazing £91.50 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, on top of the funds raised earlier in the year from the Futura Foundation Charity Event.
